The Jersey Cricket Board is delighted to learn that Gina Kearns, who has been Jersey’s scorer for some time, has been appointed to score 2 matches in the Women’s World Cup Tournament which is to be played in June.

She will be scoring when New Zealand play Sri Lanka and Pakistan which are both high profile matches.

Chris Minty, CEO of the Jersey Cricket Board commented "This is great news for Gina who has earned a good reputation as Jersey’s scorer and we would like to congratulate her on her appointment which acknowledges her achievements and also reflects well on Jersey Cricket. She is almost certainly the first Channel Islander to be appointed to such role and we wish her all the best."
