Jersey Evening Post logoJersey has another dozen UKCC Level 1 cricket coaches following a successful and intensive three-day course undertaken at the Langford and Oakfield Sports Centres.

Jersey Cricket Board coach Peter Gough said: ‘The candidates did really well throughout the weekend and the Jersey Cricket Coaches Association now look forward to working with and alongside these new coaches as they embark on coaching activities within their clubs and schools.'

Successful on the course were: Aiden McGuire, Corey Bisson, Jonny Mackintosh (Rathbone OVs), Ben Beeley, John Patterson (Fairbairn SCF), Vicky Toole, Florie Copley (Jersey Lilies), Chris Wilson, Kris Gorman, Alan Morris (Wanderers), Michael Ahier (St Ouen) and Dave Gascoyne (Farmers-Caesareans).

The course officials were International Cricket Council tutors John Cook and Jeremy Frith.
