Limavady travelled to Dublin and completed a comprehensive win over CYM in their re-arranged Bob Kerr Irish senior cup fixture, the Roesiders battering their hosts' attack into submission amassing 320 for 9 in their 50 overs.

Andrew Riddles made a century before retiring and Ian McGregor added 50 before he too returned to the pavilion unbeaten in what appeared to be a move to share the batting duties.

Riddles hit 16 fours and 2 sixes in his 80 ball knock, which knocked the resistance out of CYM's beleagured attack. There were useful cameos as well from Dean Curry (33), Richard McDaid (26), Simon Dunn (22*), and Chris Moore (21).

CYM rarely looked like threatening an upset after that and were 124 runs light in the final count. Brad Rasool hit 7 fours and two sixes in his 84, while McDonald (39) and Donal Vaughan (27) got useful starts but failed to capitalise as the rate increased. Simon Dunn (3-47) was the most successful of the Limavady attack.

It's no secret that David Cooke's side fancy a real go at the country's premier cup competition this year and whilst there are many top quality sides still in it, Limavady have a chance to go all the way.
