Malaysia Under-15s are to replace Zimbabwe Under-15s in the forthcoming Under-15 tournament in the West Indies after the Zimbabweans were denied UK visas to travel through London on their way to the tournament.

Malaysia were in the original list of teams, but did not originally make the final line-up. Malaysia will play the West Indies in the first round of the knock-out competition, and will be in the same group as the Combined Americas, Pakistan and the Netherlands in the main tournament, meaning that we are guaranteed an associate team in the semi-finals.

Malaysia Under-15s were last in action back in November, when they won twice and lost twice in the ACC Under-15 Elite Cup before being kicked out of the tournament along with seven other team due to fielding over-age players.
