A ten team Canadian colleges and universities 20/20 cricket tournament began at Maple Leaf CC, in King City, Ontario, on Monday. York University raced off to a 2-0 winning start, after winning a longer-format tournament in 2006. McMaster University, beaten in last year's final by York, won its only match on the opening day.
