Hong Kong women have beaten China again in a rematch of last weeks historic encounter in Shenzhen.
The venue this time was in Hong Kong, at Kowloon Cricket Club. It was a hot and humid day, with some showers which did interrupt play at the end of the Hong Kong 30 over innings when they were on 158/3. The rain just denied skipper Neisha Pratt of a century, and she was left stranded on 98 not out from just 81 balls.
After the rain, China came out to bat, with a target of 157 from 25 overs. This time one of their batsman did reach double figures, with Liu Biyu scoring 15 before being run out. The Chinese batting too slowly, and had only 31/4 at the end of the 16th over, at which point they lost five wickets without adding to the score, Chan Sau Har taking a hat-trick with her slow left arm bowling. They were eventually bowled out for 41.
