Two members of Uganda's winning team in the World Cricket League Division Three tournament have failed to return to Uganda with the rest of the team.

Patrick Ochan, 18, and Jimmy Okello, 19, both from the same village in Uganda, failed to reunite with their team following the final in Darwin. Whilst the two have visas allowing them to stay until the 24th of August, and hence are legally in Australia, there are rumours that the two are intending to stay in Australia.

William Kibuuka Musoke, the chairman of the Ugandan Cricket Association, said that he believed the two just wanted a few extra days in Australia, and would return home shortly, adding, "I pray that they return to Uganda so that they don't shame our team and the country at large." However, sources within the team who have not been named claim that the two had been discussing staying in Australia.
