Fiji's disappointing warm-up to Division Three of the World Cricket League continued yesterday with a 88 run defeat to the Northern Territory Institute of Sport.

The Institute team batted first, and the Fijian bowlers bowled well to restrict them to 203, with Iniasi Cakacaka taking 4/21 and Taione Batina taking 3/25. But their batsman couldn't back them up, and despite an unbeaten 40 from Filimoni Vuliwaqa, they were bowled out for just 115.

Fiji's next warm-up game is against their long time rivals and pre-tournament favourites Papua New Guinea on Friday. They need to improve their game a great deal to have any success in that match and in the tournament as a whole.
