Uganda Cricket Association taken over by fleas
Uganda's Sunday Vision newspaper is reporting that the offices of the Uganda Cricket Association have been invaded by fleas.
Organising secretary Davis Turinawe and development officer John Mayeku have been forced out of their Lugogo offices by the tiny insects. Turinawe resorts to accessing the internet form cafes to save himself from flea bites, whilst Mayeku does his paperwork under trees at the National Council of Sports headquarters.
A source revealed to the Sunday Vision, 'The executive which has refused to release money for insecticides and also cleaning of the carpet for a long time is accountable for the situation".
