Scotland have been drawn in the same group as arch-rivals India and Pakistan for the inaugural Twenty20 World Championship to be held in South Africa from September 11-24. Kenya, the World Cricket League champions, have been placed in a group alongside Sri Lanka and New Zealand

  • Group A: South Africa, West Indies and Bangladesh.
  • Group B: England, Zimbabwe and Australia.
  • Group C: New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Kenya.
  • Group B: Pakistan, India and Scotland.

The top two teams from each group will go into a Super 8 stage.

The fixture list will not be available until the end of the month. Warm-up matches are scheduled to take place on 8-9 September 8 and 9.
