Hoping for a similarly comprehensive win as in the three-day match, Namibia put the home side into bat. Things started well when Christiaan Jonker was removed from the third ball of the match, but the other opener Werner Coetsee stayed at the crease for a knock of 96. Captain Thando Bula was the next highest scorer with an unbeaten 40 in the North West total of 240/9.
Namibia have been batting brilliantly in this competition so far, but it let them down today. A few batsmen got starts, but none could stay at the crease as Namibia were bowled out for 184 in the 41st over.
A win in this match would have secured them a semi-final spot, but this will have to wait until their next game against Northerns on the 4th of March.
