Malaysia U19s disastrous tri-series campaign continued yesterday with a heavy defeat against England.

Malaysia were put into bat by England, and the English decided to use this match as a practice game, giving everyone but the wicket-keeper at least one over with the ball. Alex Wakely was the pick of the ten, taking 3/20 as Malaysia were rolled out for 104.

Rain left England with a target of 100 runs from 43 overs and they eased to it inside 19. Alex Wakely completed a fine all-round performance with 54 runs from 47 balls, but was run out before the conclusion to give Malaysia their only wicket
