Brunei would have been hoping to bounce back from their mauling at the hands of Oman yesterday, but those hopes were dashing when Bhutan bowled them out for 33. Lakshmi Prasad Gajmer was the cheif destroyer, taking 5 wickets without conceding a run in just 14 balls, including a hat-trick. Bhutan reached the target in just 25 balls for the loss of one wicket.

Bhutan and Brunei now both have one game remaining against Qatar and the Maldives respectively. Qatar have been a real force in this tournament with some big scores, and Bhutan will need to raise their game if they are to beat them tomorrow. A win will put them in the semi finals. The Maldives, like Bhutan, are currently without a win in the tournament.

Playing against China, Iran scored 192/9 from their 40 overs. Zhang Yufei took 4/35 for the Chinese, whilst Abdolvahab Ebrahimpour top-scored with 48 for Iran. Mansour Raeissi then took four wickets for four runs as China were dismissed for 70, losing by 122 runs.

Iran play Myanmar tomorrow, and a win will put them into the semi finals. China will play Saudi Arabia, and will hope to end their first venture into international cricket with another win.
