Bermuda have added big hitter Lionel Cann to their squad for the South African leg of their tour. Cann replaces Malachi Jones, who is returning to school in Bermuda, and will be available both for next week's Intercontinental Cup clash with The Netherlands and the tri-series of ODIs, also involving Canada, which follows.

34-year-old Cann has played in two Intercontinental Cup matches and three ODIs, with his highest scores 48 against Canada in the former and 40 (from 32 balls) against Zimbabwe in the latter.

After having been bowled out for 133 in their four-day match against Kenya and losing the ODI series 3-nil, the Bermudans will welcome Cann's hitting power in the middle order. They will also be strengthened by the return of skipper Clay Smith, who did not play in the ODIs.
