Hot on the heels of George O'Brien's contract termination comes news of alleged dishonesty by national team player Lionel Cann.

Bermuda players receive compensation for missed work when on national team duty and Cann sought this compensation from the board, however when the BCB contact his part-time employers, it is alleged that that they informed the BCB that Cann had been absent from work for "several months".

This has fulled suspicions that Cann may have been fraudulently claiming his compensation from the Board. With the African trip coming up, this is the last thing that Bermudian cricket needs.
