In the final, Dockendale batted first and scored an impressive 188 runs from their 20 overs, Narendra Ekanyake top scoring with 84. He then completed an excellent all-round performance with four wickets as Scotia Bank were bowled out for 124. Dockendale thus won the $700 first prize.

The tournament is part of the Bahamas preparation for the next Stanford 20/20 tournament, provisionally scheduled for December 2007. Allen Stanford gave more than $100,000 to each participating nation in this years event, and the Bahamas Cricket Association hope to use that money to finance the preparation of their own turf wicket.
