The new president of the Cricket Association of Nepal has revealed his immediate priorities. In a press conference yesterday in Kathmandu, he said that the CAN's biggest responsibility at the present time is to clarify the fate of the ACC academy, which was to be built at Mulpani. It's current fate is unknown, with some thinking that the ACC had lost interest due to Nepal's recent internal turmoil.

A restructure of the domestic game is also on the cards, with a Twenty20 club tournament featuring prize money being implemented along with a national league playing two-day matches. A zonal under 13 tournament is also in the pipeline. The agenda for the CAN also includes the introduction of women's cricket, and support for the blind cricket association.
