Bermuda players boycott training
Three Bermuda Cricket Board executives met with national team cricketers on the 15th of September to discuss terms of a draft contract valid until the end of the year. The players were not happy with the BCB's decision to withdraw their monthly retainer fee. They then did not attend the following day's training at the National Sports Centre.
Speaking to Bermuda's Royal Gazette newspaper, BCB vice-president confirmed the original disagreement, but denied that the players boycotted a training session. The players met with coach Gus Logie the day after the alleged missed training session to discuss the situation with him, and Logie is set to meet with the board at an executive meeting tonight.
