The Roy Dias coached team will play three limited overs matches against local Karachi club teams, finishing a build-up which so far has featured daily practice sessions.

Dias said the Karachi visit had dual purposes.

"We want a location which will not be affected by wet weather, and the trip will keep the guys fit," Dias told CE Worldwide.

"I know which players I want in the final squad but just want to give some of the fringe players a chance."

The current 18 man squad will be trimmed to 14 players.

The only notable omission is likely to be left arm paceman Amir Akhtar who is currently playing in England.
