Bermuda reached the final of the TRi-Series in Trinidad with a tense three wicket victory over a once again disappointing Canadaian side. However, facing a modest target of 153, they appeared to have thrown the game away when they collapsed to 89 for seven. However, wicketkeeper Dean Minors (46 not out)and Lionel Cann saw off John Davison, Canada's most dangerous bowler and then scored freely off the other bowlers to see their side home.

Earlier, Canada's batting once again failed miserably as they slid to 55 for five and then 91 for eight. However, big-hitter George Codrington and Kevin Sandher added 30 for the ninth wicket; when Sandher was dismissed Henry Osinde then supported Codrington and Canada were able to bat out their overs to reach 157 for nine.

A rain shower during the Bermuda innings saw their target revised down by six runs.

Bermuda meet Zimbabwe today and the two sides will then meet again in Saturday's final. For Canada, it was the second of two very disappointing days and they are left to contemplate just how much they have to do if they are to remain competitive, even at Associate nations level.
