Rheindahlen Crusaders also got the season off to a winning start as they beat Mülheim CC by 7 runs in a nail biting match at JHQ on Sunday 22nd of April. Billy Williams scored 148 on the way to a Crusaders total of 270 all out, but the Crusaders nearly lost the match had it not been for the safe hands of Potts who held onto the all-important catch from Mülheim centurion Wahid.

The Crusaders next game will be on Saturday 6th of May as they host the first Twenty/20 tournament to be held at JHQ. All spectators are more than welcome to come along and watch from the newly renovated pavilion, and net practice is on Monday and Thursday from 17.00- 19.00 at the pavilion- all are welcome.
