Murray Commins is set for a return to Instonians for the 2024 season.

The 27 year-old played at Shaw's Bridge in 2018 and 2019 with some success, scoring 947 runs at 47.35 (5 fifties, 2 hundreds) in 25 games.

South African born, he made his debut last year for Ireland playing four times - twice each in Tests and ODI's. However, he found the going tough, managing just 12 runs in five innings.

He has been playing domestically at The Hills since 2021, scoring 1078 runs in 40 matches at 34.77, making 7 fifties and 1 hundred.

Commins arrival at Instonians will offset the loss of Shane Getkate, who is returning to Leinster cricket after a decade in the NCU - seven of those years spent at Shaw's Bridge.
