Ireland U19s will play three warm-up matches this week to help them prepare for the World Cup that gets underway later this month.

Pete Johnston's side has only arrived in South Africa, a week later than original announced, and undertook their first training session on Thursday.

The Irish face Zimbabwe on Sunday and Monday, while they take on a North West Colts team on Thursday.

They will play two official warm-up matches on January 14th and 16th, before their group matches against USA (19th), Bangladesh (22nd) and India (25th).
