Jacob Mulder has confirmed his intention to return to Northern Ireland next summer after being released early from his Cricket Ireland contract.

The mutual decision to end the contract two months early has freed Mulder to travel back to his native Australia, where he will play for his hometown club, South Perth CC.

The Irish international is planning to be back in the province in 2019, where he hopes to once again play for both CIYMS and Northern Knights.

Mulder was an integral part of the Belmont side as they clinched the league title.
