Quick Haag have signed 22 year-old all-rounder Jay Bista for the 2018 season.
With the recruitment of Jay Gokul Bista, Quick have completed their coaching staff for the forthcoming campaign.
Bista comes from India and was signed on the recommendation of Amol Muzumdar, the former coach of the 'Hanen'.
He was born in Mumbai, while his parents are from Dhangadhi, which means he has Nepalese roots.
The talented Bista is a right-handed batting all-rounder, who bowls off-breaks.
The opening batsman lives less than two minutes away from Wankhede, the stadium of Mumbai and made his first-class and List-A debut at the age of 19 for that club.
At the age of 21 he scored his maiden first-class century.
His highest score is 135, against Madhya Pradesh, while his best bowling figures are 5/16.
Many seasoned observers feel a debut for India U-23 is imminent for this fine cricketer who will be an excellent addition to the Dutch cricketing landscape.
