Former Irish international Ryan Haire has confirmed his departure from Muckamore.
The 36 year-old all-rounder has been at Moylena since 2015, but is quitting the player-coach role after three years in County Antrim.
Haire has indicated his intention that he wishes to spend less time playing and coaching in the coming year.
However he has no intention of hanging up the boots just yet, and has been in negotiations with his former club North Down.
Comber would be his favoured destination but no deal has yet been completed.
The re-signing of Haire would be a major boost for North Down, as he was an instrumental figure in their golden period of trophy success.
