Donaghcloney Mill on course for double

DONAGHCLONEY Mill III remain on course for a league and cup double after a seven wickets victory in the Minor Qualifying Cup final against Laurelvale III.
Neil Riley took three early wickets to reduce Laurelvale, playing on their home ground, to 16 for three and they never recovered, bowled out for 61 in the 30th over. Donaghcloney lost their third wicket with the total on 39 but opener Gareth Copeland saw his side to victory at the start of the 18th over with 25 not out.
The newly amalgamated club are currently joint-top of Junior League 7 with BISC II, with three games left to play while BISC have only two.
Meanwhile, the Minor (Lindsay) Cup Final between Laurelvale II and Muckamore IV, postponed last Saturday, will take place at Woodvale this Sunday.
