Three Jersey players have taken part in 3 day 2nd XI County Championship matches this week.

Ben Kynman and Jake Dunford both played for Gloucestershire v Surrey while Jonty Jenner represented Sussex v Kent.

Kynman returned good figures of 14-1-49 against a strong Surrey side which scored 446-5 in their first innings, while Dunford top scored with 32 from 102 balls in the Gloucestershire first innings against a pacey Surrey attack and scored 8 in the second innings.

Jenner followed recent innings of 40 v Bangladesh and 103 for club side Preston Nomads with scores of 27 & 15 against Kent.

Young Jersey players Harrison Carlyon and Julius Sumerauer will play County Under 17 cricket this summer. Carlyon will play matches for Sussex and Sumerauer for Somerset.
